Nelson Regional Information

Nelson offers a pocket of paradise!

The City of Nelson is filled with boutique shops, cafes, tree lined streets, endless art and craft galleries and is home to the famous "Wearable Arts" show (although since the event has gotten so big it will next year be in Wellington). If you love art, this is a must visit destination.

Near by you will find plenty of beautiful beaches, the most well known beaches set amongst the Abel Tasman National Park. Only one hour from Nelson, this National Park offers hiking trails, kayaking opportunities and sun worshipping opportunities!

With bragging rights of the destination with the most sunshine hours in the country, it is no wonder that boutique wineries have been popping up through out the region in recent years.
